If you can’t see Download image when you click
the ellipsis icon
, try these steps:
Try to download the image from the home feed instead by selecting
the ellipsis icon
under the Pin in your home feedTry downloading the image from a desktop or mobile browser instead of the app
Please note that not all Pins can be downloaded so these steps may not apply to all Pins.
Pin won’t download
If you selected Download image but the image didn’t save:
Close and reopen the Pinterest app, then try againMake sure your device has enough available storageCheck that Pinterest has permission to save photos on your deviceUpdate the Pinterest app to the latest versionTry downloading the image from a desktop or mobile browser instead of the app
Where are downloaded images saved?
Downloaded images are usually saved to your device’s default Downloads folder or Photos app, depending on your device and browser settings.
What’s the difference between downloading a Pin and saving a Pin?
Saving a Pin adds the Pin to one of your boards. This makes it easier to find it later and it helps Pinterest to better understand your taste.
